I am a Judgment Broker, not a lawyer, so this article is my opinion, so please see with a lawyer if [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] you require legal advice. As a Judgment Broker, I see the errors Judgment Enforcers make, and know what Judgment Enforcers can do to make additional profits.
The first rule is: Know when to hold them, know when to fold them. Only keep judgments that you [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] have a chance of recovering now or in the future. Only enforce judgments that are within your capability to recover. Do not take assignment of a family court judgment if you have never been to a family court. Do not enforce judgments far away from you, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] unless you are planning to hire [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] a lawyer where the judgment debtor resides.
The second rule is: Do not toss out judgment [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] leads. An obsolete model is to ignore any judgment leads except those that are just right for you. A Better profitable model is to refer judgment leads to make money.
Just because a judgment lead is not right for you, does not mean you cannot create value with the lead. If you know a Judgment Enforcer friend that is close to the judgment debtor, you can refer it to them. You could also refer judgment leads to a judgment forum or list.
Even better, to make more money, refer judgment leads that are not right for you to a judgment broker. It's better to tell judgment owners you know someone that will help, [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] than to send judgment owners into the sea of advertisements and false claims on the Internet.
The third rule is: Do not spend much money on poor debtors. Many judgments have debtors without a obvious funds to satisfy the judgment. If a judgment debtor is poor, it's best to either assign the judgment back, or to periodically check the debtor every 6 months to [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] a year. Judgment Brokers have the right solution for all judgments, even tough judgments, in their "difficult judgment" department.
The fourth rule is: Work local, as [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] much as you can, and work in the one or two courts closest to you. You want everyone at the court, process server, sheriff, and the law library to know you, your name, and your [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] reputation of representing yourself as having a good attitude, knowledge, constant improvement, respect for the court, the laws, and everyone.
The fifth rule is: Join judgment forums, training programs, and associations. Locate your local law library, you can study there for free. Study the laws of your state on the web, which is free. Get a PACER account and check your [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] debtors often for bankruptcy filings. Be careful when paying upfront for judgment leads. The best judgment leads cost you nothing upfront.
The sixth rule is: Do not waste your time on "shopper" judgment owners. The usually rate for enforcing typical small judgments is 50%. Do not [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] discount your rate unless the judgment seems very easy to recover or the judgment is very large (with a lot of available assets to pay the judgment.)
The last rule is: Open your business to more profits. Profit from all the business, not just the business local and easy for you. Find a Judgment Broker, and refer leads to them to increase your long-term cash flow and profits.
